Sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate Application:

1. Used as a chlorinating agent after bleaching of pulp and cotton products,

 as a chelating agent and antioxidant in the food industry, 

and as a detergent and disinfectant in the pharmaceutical industry.
2. Used for dehydrochlorination of natural gas,

 naphtha, synthetic gas, hydrogen, nitrogen and other gases to 

protect the downstream catalysts from being poisoned.

If the gas contains organochlorine, it should be converted to hydrogen chloride by 

the catalyst for the hydrogenation of cobalt and molybdenum before

hydrogen chloride is absorbed by the dechlorination agent.
3. Used as analytical reagent, mordant and fixing agent.
4. Suitable for hydrogen, nitrogen, synthetic gas, carbon monoxide,
